COMMUNITY INITIATIVES
One of our values at Heartland is to be connected to our community. One of the primary ways we do that is through community initiatives. These are opportunities and events for our church to make a positive impact in our community. For more information, please contact us.
Free Income Tax Clinic
We hosted a 5 week clinic for income tax for those who met the criteria. We have been able to help individuals file almost 50 tax returns!
Baby Basics
This initiative was in partnership with the Vita Centre. We provided the Vita Centre with 128 baskets full of supplies for the young moms and babies that they serve. The baskets included diapers, formula, food, shampoo and more.
Angel Tree
This past Christmas we purchased 25 gifts for children on behalf of their incarcerated parent(s).
MINISTRY AT EXTENDICARE

When: Third Sunday of each month at 2:00 pm
